pictures now resized also just recieved original photos via post from the guy and he sent this email with the copys as well
Hi Jan,
I have just had your letter redirected to me re G550 UEC, I was the first owner, the car was a present for my wife, it was an special edition SE500, we were told only 25 were to be made in this spec, leather seats and in that wonderful metallic blue paint.
The car spent the first 2 weeks of its life on road touring Ireland, it was a eye head turner and admired by the Irish with the roof down, and the next south of England in Devon Cornwall etc.
The car was used mainly in the Lakes where we lived, it was cherished by my wife who called it Juice...(G UEC), the mil-age was approx 15k when we sold it, in Manchester for a 2.8 Capri Sports Coup.
I have attached 3 photos of the car taken at our last address in the driveway, i know somewhere there are more photos but have moved 3 times since.
Hope u restore her to the original spec as it was such a beautiful looking car.
Sorry we have no other documents...

Nice to hear you got a positive reply from the first owner :D

Good luck with the resto, are you going to try and restore as to those origianl photos? Looks a good abse to start with.

And yes, no all-blue had a spolier. This was never an option. However all-blues sold in Germnay did have the spoiler available as a factory fitted option.

Only options were ABS and 2007 radio and/or Graphic equaliser.

I've got plenty of history on these models, if there is anything you need to know, do ask.

thanks seems like you could be very helpfull as thier is a few all blue restos on the go

yea i'm aiming for somthing near the original but because i'm keeping it i'm going for the blue mohair option as it lastslonger and is easy to maintain and fitting my zetec for reliability allthough i will keep and restore the original engine so i can be replaced if ever i sell
