right all as you know i got the DVLA information through and im now awaiting contact back from the past owners.....

right info as follows

car was manufactured on 30/12/1984

but first registration wasnt until 4/11/1985

on the application for first licence and decleration of registration the selling dealer box just says ex N.Ireland???? as on the earlier V5's it does say "has also been registered as UIJ 1764" is that a northern irish registration??? perhaps when it was sat in the showroom????

the car was first registered to a company in glasgow called bairdwear ltd??? who kept the car from 04/11/1985 till 01/05/1987

i have looked up on the net and have found a little to see if bairdwear still exist? and its not looking good??? will see if i get a reply???

the car was then sold to her second owner in richmond london surrey between 1987 and 1990.

keeper number 3 and 4 had the car between themselves at the same address for 16 years 1990-2006!!!!!

car then went to the last owner who i bought it from from july 2006 to till i aquired the car 04/03/2010 (took ages to put into my name as i got dicked around by the seller as he lost the V5 and i had to apply for one!

will update this when i get some replies to my letters

:0)

just had a phone call from the second owner!!! he is going to email all his memories etc over to me, but basically over the phone he was surprised that it was still going strong his partner was the 3rd owner and as i said they owned the car between them for 16 years! he said the company that he bought it from called bairdwear is a company that makes clothing for M & S. its on its 3rd roof as the original roof split at the seams, and the second roof got cut open a few weeks after he renewed it... hes also got some pictures to send me when he sorts them out. he also said he had the private number plate B4UGH on the car for a while as his second name is BAUGH . oh and he confirmed it was on an irish plate......

believe it or not he said he went through a pile of paperwork on monday and found a receipt for the toad immobiliser he had fitted on it, but unfortunatly he binned it :0(

anyways hope to have some more pictures coming through soon :D :D :D :D

well worth the fiver!!!!!!!!
